Villa Les Tires is a beautiful five-bedroom house set in the Puerto Pollensa countryside offering beautiful views – there are a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and mini markets from 4 miles and of course the sandy bays of Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa are within a short drive away.
It offers peace and quiet, but with every amenity within a 10 minute drive and a variety of activities, for example some cycling in Majorca, right at your doorstep. Port de Pollensa is in one direction along the Bay, whilst a little closer is the old town of Alcudia with its old roman walls, shops, restaurants and beaches.
The large 12 metre pool with steps takes pride of place to the front of this Pollensa Bay villa and is set amongst lawned gardens. There is an inviting front covered terrace complete with brick built barbecue and traditional Mallorcan baker’s oven. This area is designed for outside living and has dining facilities as well as a plentiful supply of outside furniture for relaxing under the sun. The owners have laid out an attractive seating area on the opposite side of the house, which provides plentiful shade and incorporates an old olive tree.
This Majorca family villa is entered directly into a comfortably furnished lounge with feature fireplace. To one side of the lounge is the first of the five air-conditioned bedrooms and this has an antique style double bed. On the opposite side of the lounge there is a most attractive shower room with WC, which boasts large walk-in shower. A door leads from the lounge towards the front of the property and the enormous dining/kitchen, which is very well fitted and comes complete with dishwasher, microwave and washing machine and there is also a separate deep freeze.
In the kitchen also is to be found the flat screen TV with News and International channels, a DVD player and Sony Playstation 2 (please bring your own games). The long refectory table seats 10 with ease and there is a feature fireplace at one end of the room. A door leads from the kitchen onto the barbeque terrace.
An open sided staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor and the four remaining bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms, one with windows to the front and pool view and two pretty twin bedrooms, plus two further full bathrooms, which service this accommodation. For that private sun bathing there is also a small sun terrace on this level.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned for your added benefit.
If you want to explore further afield from the villa then why not try some excellent sailing or cycling in Majorca; both come highly recommended. Mallorca is also famous for its bird watching and walking and in 2010 the Serra de Tramuntana was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, Cultural Landscape.
