Villa Solar das Laranjeiras’ (“Manor House of the Orange Orchard“) is a fabulous villa on a private gated plot. It is not far from the Pine Cliffs area with all its facilities, bars and restaurants and the beaches of Barrancos and Falesia. It is only a few minutes by car to the attractions of Albufeira.
The layout and spaciousness of the house are really well designed for everyone to have enough privacy and to spend a pleasant holiday. Driving through the private entrance gates parking is easy in front of the main door.
When you enter, you come in through a naturally lit hallway with a guest cloakroom and doors leading to the dining room, kitchen, lounge and guest WC. You then walk into the spacious and bright lounge decorated in hues of orange and white with its modern furniture. There is a built in wood burning stove, Samsung flat screen 46″ smart TV which has internet, Skype. There is also a DVD player and sliding doors lead out to the covered terrace.
Off the lounge through a wide archway is the dining room in pale wood and beige with comfortable high backed chairs. French windows lead out to the front poolside terrace. Off the dining area is the very large kitchen. This is complete with a good sized breakfast table, American style fridge with drinks dispenser and is well equipped with all usual mod cons. It has a large window looking out to the barbecue area and lawn by the pool. Just off the kitchen is a separate laundry room. There is an extra store room which leads back to the front hallway. All well thought out for when you bring in the shopping.
The poolside terraces leading out from the lounge and dining room face south and south west with a generous covered area with a large wooden table for those al fresco meals. The barbecue area near the pool is built in complete with a sink and lots of room and a table tennis table near the pool adds to the outdoor enjoyment.
A solar pool cover has been installed in the pool at Solar das Laranjeiras. The villa does not have pool heating. This cover will only bring the pool temperature up by a few degrees. It will also protect the pool from leaves, insects and bird droppings.
From the hall on the ground floor you access the two downstairs suites. First, the Orange Double with it’s bright ultra modern shower room which leads out onto the lawn by the pool. The second bedroom is the Blue twin room again with an ultra modern blue full bathroom.
Up the sweeping staircase you come to the upstairs landing. To the right is the Brown double suite with its own terrace and full bathroom. Straight ahead is a large orange and red twin suite with red shower room. This leads out to the large upstairs terrace.
When you can tear yourself away from the comfort of the villa there is plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. All the facilities of the Pine Cliffs, golf, tennis, beach, bars and restaurants. The main attractions of Albufeira are only 10 minutes down the road by car.
A great villa for both families and couples to enjoy some real rest and relaxation in a private setting.
