Villa Nero is a wonderful, waterfront house set just a 2-minute walk to the sea with a wonderful selection of tavernas, cafes, bars and mini markets from a 10 minute drive.
The sense of space here is a joy, and makes for easy living no matter how your group is made up. There’s a guest annexe ideal for grandparents or perhaps the in-laws, and a fabulous big outdoor dining table where you can all come together to enjoy a meal with the ever-changing seascapes of the gulf as a backdrop. The finish is thoughtfully luxurious throughout, with extra-large double beds, beautiful bathrooms and original artworks adorning the walls.
The Gulf of Mirabello is one of the most desirable areas of Crete, and glamorous Villa Nero is right at home here. Its razor-sharp design is softened by the surrounding landscaping, which extends from the house and the pool right down to the sea. You can slip through your private gate (secured by a handy, residents-only wristband, no key required) down onto a small sandy beach, or stroll just five minutes further to Ammoudara beach, which is equipped with loungers, parasols and seasonal watersports.
Ammoudara is one of Crete’s Blue Flag-rated beaches, indicating not just excellent water quality but also a responsible environmental approach. For evenings out, you can stroll into Ammoudara or make the short drive to the tavernas, fish restaurants and smart summer bars of Agios Nikolaos.
