Three Bedroom Villa Sleeps 6

This sweet, Portuguese three-bedroom is situated in the idyllic seaside resort of Vale De Parra, with superb views over the valley towards Armação de Pera. Boasting a ten-metre long swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers, the villa is perfectly designed for sun kissed family holidays.

We loved the fun, dolphin statue at the pool’s edge, which constantly spouts refreshing water to cool off under. A poolside dining table with parasol and a traditional Portuguese BBQ allow you to prepare and serve your meals al-fresco. When the kids aren’t frolicking in the pool, there’s also a ping pong table in the garden.

The interiors are light, with cream walls and tiled flooring and splashes of fuchsia in the sheer curtains and scatter cushions. A staircase leads up to the first floor where the master bedroom boasts a stunning domed ceiling and its own ensuite shower room. The other two bedrooms are twin and a double and these share a superb power body massage shower, which is absolutely invigorating.

Vale De Parra is a tranquil, unspoilt village with quaint restaurants serving local wine which the region is famed for. Translated as ‘Valley of the Grapevines’, the villas are nestled amongst vineyards and citrus trees.
